The Gaia Zine’s Uniquely Youth Film Festival was created to amplify the voice of filmmakers 25 years old and under internationally.

Last year, in its second season, the Uniquely Youth Film Festival received submissions from 19 different countries! The festival was comprised of 52 short films selected by a panel of 10 student jurors.

The Uniquely Youth Film Festival opened in person Friday, May 10th in Rye Country Day’s Black Box Theater. There, all 12 of our Award Winning Films were screened. For two weeks following the in-person screening, we will run our festival virtually with themed premiere nights.
