This April, The Gaia Zine co-sponsored our first in-person event alongside The Queens World Film Festival and New York Women in Film and Television.
Passion in Action was a skill building and networking event for young people to meet professionals across various fields and learn skills like crafting a personal mission statement and interviewing!
Morning Session
Work in small groups to:
• Update your resume design.
• Develop your interview skills.
• Learn about paid/volunteer internships.
• Craft your Education Plan.
• Write your personal Mission Statement.
Afternoon Session
• Meet and interview professionals from film, TV, visual arts, theatre, dance and more.
• Leave with professional contacts and a plan.
